President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed disappointment over the manner in which Kuje prison in the federal capital territory (FCT) was attacked by suspected Boko Haram insurgents.
Gatekeepers News reports that Buhari express his displeasure in a tweet on his official Twitter page.
He ascribed the situation to a failure of intelligence when he visited the facility on Wednesday.
Buhari queried why terrorists are able to “attack a security installation and get away with it”.
He tweeted, “Saddened by the attack on the Medium Security Custodial Centre, Kuje. I am disappointed with the intelligence system.
“How can terrorists organize, have weapons, attack a security installation and get away with it? I am expecting a comprehensive report on this shocking incident.”
