Kidnapped Nollywood Actors Regain Freedom
Kidnappers of Nollywood actors, Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel, have demanded $100,000 in ransom.

Gatekeepers News reports that the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas confirmed the development.

The two actors were declared missing on Friday after their families cried out that they were yet to return from a film Location at Ozalla Town, Enugu State.

The Enugu Police command, on Saturday, recovered actress Cynthia Okereke’s car.

According to the Police, the actress’s vehicle was abandoned and recovered at Four-Corners on the Enugu-Port-Harcourt Expressway, specifically within Ozalla community in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State.

The AGN President on Saturday said it has been confirmed that the missing actors became victims of abduction.

According to him, the abductors are demanding $100,000 in ransom.

“It’s a confirmed kidnap case. They have made contact and demanded for 100k dollars,” he told The Cable.

Meanwhile, there are reports that a bank account belonging to Okereke had already been emptied of its funds.
