Department of State Services (DSS) has distanced itself from a security advisory that has gone viral online.
Gatekeepers News reports that the viral advisory which carries the logo of the DSS has been tagged as fake by the agency.
The fake advisory, on Monday, raised the alarm about plans by ‘undesirable elements’ to allegedly storm various parts of the country, “particular State capitals including the Federal Capital Territory, with the view to perpetrate crimes such as abductions and kidnappings for ransom, or as a means of getting recruits for terrorist activities.”
