Gatekeepers News reports that Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo made the commendation when he visited the Kogi College of Nursing and Midwifery Obangede on project inspection.
Fanwo expressed his satisfaction with the notable infrastructural development In the institution as well as other schools and tertiary institutions in Kogi State eulogising him for making sure that all tertiary institutions across the state are well equipped and properly managed appreciatimg his passion for the welfare of the staff and students of the college.
Fanwo commended the security architecture of Okehi Local Government Area and thanked the Chairman Abdulraheem Ohiare for upholding and maintaining peace and order across the Local Government and the school in particular, appealing to him to continue with his good works.
The students of the institution, during an interactive session commended the Governor for providing a conducive atmosphere for learning, especially as they are enjoying uninterrupted studies appealing for more hostels in the school, to accommodate old and new students.
Earlier, the provost of the College, Dr. Hannah Abraham, expressed her gratitude to the Executive Governor, Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, for the developmental infrastructure in the school and called on private investors to come and invest in the institution.
Dr. Hannah made a passionate appeal that all the projects under construction should be completed soonest so that the school can accommodate more courses.
