Nigeria striker, Asisat Oshoala, has made the 20-man shortlist for the 2022 Women’s Ballon d’Or award.
Last month, Gatekeepers News reported that Oshoala was crowned the 2022 CAF Women’s Player of the Year.
The 27-year-old, received the award the fifth time to surpass her compatriot Perpetua Nkwocha.
However, for the Ballon d’Or prize, she will go up against formidable players like Sam Kerr, Vivianne Miedema, Beth Mead and Alex Morgan.
