Kenya Vice President, William Ruto has won the race to be the fifth president of the East African nation.
Gatekeepers News reports that this was according to results announced by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
He narrowly beat his rival, Raila Odinga, taking 50.4% of the vote while Odinga had 48.5%.
The announcement was delayed amid scuffles and allegations of vote-rigging by members of Mr Odinga’s campaign
