The abducted Nasarawa State Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism Hon Lawal Yakubu has regained freedom.
Gatekeepers News reports that the Nasarawa Police spokesman DSP Ramhan Nansel confirmed release of the commissioner.
He said no ransom was paid.
He was kidnapped last Monday in front of his residence at Nasarawa Eggon local government area.
He was reportedly released around 5:30pm on Friday.
But it was not clear whether ransom was paid for his release.
