The Peoples Redemption Party’s (PRP) governorship candidate in Ogun state, South West Nigeria, David Bamgbose is dead.
Gatekeepers News reports that Bamgbose died at the Sacred Heart Hospital, Lantoro, Abeokuta, after a brief illness.
Bamgbose’s personal assistant, Oduntan Olayemi, said his principal was complaining of tiredness on Thursday.
“We opted for the state hospital, Lantoro because of the urgency and he was admitted at the emergency ward where he was administered oxygen till today (Friday),” Olayemi reportedly said.
“I got back to the hospital this morning and I saw him breathing too fast and heavy.
“I was at where I went to get him some prescribed medication that he has passed on.”
