Enyimba Unveils Oronsaye

The Peoples Elephant, Enyimba Int’l FC of Aba has unveiled multi- talented midfield dynamo, James Oronsaye after completing a move from Gateway FC of Abeokuta.

Gatekeepers News reports that the technically-gifted midfielder, who was the captain of Gateway before joining Enyimba, sealed a three years contract that will keep him with back-to-back CAF champions league winners, until the summer of 2025 season.

The eight times Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) winners have been very active in the transfer market as they look to bolster their squad ahead of the 2022/2023 campaign.

The official announcement of the acquisition of the player alongside more additional four players to the team, was made on Wednesday.

A statement on the club’s website, made it known that four players were from Heartland FC of Owerri, while one player was gotten from Gateway FC of Ogun State.

While reacting to his unveiling, Oronsaye was full of thanks to God Almighty, Enyimba int’l, his manager, previous club Gateway FC, family, friends and fans for their support and believe in him.

His words: “I thank God Almighty, Enyimba Int’l, my manager Celestine Charles, Gateway FC, my family, friends and fans for their support and believe in me.

“I promise to give my best whenever I’m called upon to feature for this great club, and to reward them for the opportunity gifted to me to be part of the club’s history.

“I have always supported and dreamed of playing for this club as a little boy, but I thank God it has now turned out a reality”, he concluded.

Meanwhile, midfielder James Oronsaye, who is regarded as a dead ball specialist, can play in the midfield as well as in the defense.

No doubt, Enyimba is eyeing to do well in the NPFL and also in the continent by this coming season, with their signings so far, as Finidi George looks to rejig his squad ahead of his second season in charge.
