JUST IN: Court Nullifies Two APC Primaries In Yobe

Federal High Court sitting in Damaturu has set aside two primary elections conducted by the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the House of Assembly in Yobe State, North East Nigeria.

Gatekeepers News reports that the constituencies affected are Fika/Ngalfa and Jaskusko constituencies.

Justice Fadima Murtala Aminu, who gave the judgement, directed the APC to conduct fresh primaries for the positions within 14 days.

Justice Aminu also warned the party not to temper with the list of the authentic delegates sent to INEC.

In another development, the court also dismissed the case of Abubakar Jinjiri vs Bashir Machina and APC.
