EPL Round-Up: Arsenal Thrash Nottingham Forest To Retain League Top Spot

Arsenal have ruthlessly beaten Nottingham Forest 5-0 on Sunday to reclaim their top spot on the Premier League table.

Gatekeepers News reports that Reiss Nelson who was introduced for the first time in Premier League this season became the unexpected hero for Mikel Arteta’s men.

Although the Gunners slipped from the top spot on Saturday after Manchester City narrowly defeated Leicester City on Saturday, Arsenal have regained their first position in the league. They are currently two points above City.

Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford’s 100th goal for Manchester United sealed a 1-0 victory against West Ham on Sunday.

Although Said Benrahma acted as West Ham’s dangerman, David De Gea surmounted all his efforts for a score.

In a tense finish, De Gea further ended as United’s saviour as he denied Michail Antonio with a good stop, then made an even better save to keep out Kurt Zouma’s header.

It was a different story for Chelsea, who lost 4-1 to Brighton. Similarly, Liverpool lost 1-2 to Leeds United at their Anfield Stadium.
