Liverpool ended Napoli’s 21-game unbeaten run by defeating the Italian 2-0 win on Tuesday.
Gatekeepers News reports that the defeat was, however, not enough to dislodge the Italians from the top spot in UEFA Champions League, UCL, Group A.
Although both sides were already guaranteed their places in the last 16, Jurgen Klopp’s men again shrugged off their Premier League challenges on a European night at Anfield.
Notwithstanding, the defeat shattered Napoli’s tempo to become the second Italian side to ever win all six games in the UCL group stage.
Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich have completed a perfect record in the Champions League group stage after defeating Inter Milan 2-0 on Tuesday.
Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting scored for the sixth game in a row with a brilliant long-range strike in the second half to hand Bayern a comfortable win in Munich.
The victory made it six wins in six games in the group stage for Bayern, the second time in a row and the third time in four years they have achieved the feat.
Tottenham Hotspur

Spurs trailed to Chancel Mbemba’s header but Clement Lenglet levelled before Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s 95th-minute winner grabbed the top spot in the table.
Eintracht Frankfurt
On the other hand, Eintracht Frankfurt joined Bayern in qualifying from Group D, after taking second place with a 2-1 win at Sporting Lisbon who had to settle for a Europa League berth, given to them by the late Tottenham goal.
