Tinubu: ‘There’s Going To Be Massive Recruitment Of The Best Nigerians’ – Ajuri Ngelale

'We Call Him President No Sleep’ - Ngelale Hails Tinubu At 72

…to re-engineer entire national education curriculum

All Progressives Congress (APC)’s Presidential Candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Presidency is going to embark on a ‘massive recruitment exercise for the best available young men and women in this country if he wins the 2023 presidential election.

Gatekeepers News reports that this was disclosed by Ajuri Ngelale, Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari and Assistant Principal Spokesperson of the APC’s Presidential Campaign Council who appeared on News Central’s Political HQ program on Monday to speak about the Tinubu manifesto titled ‘RENEWED HOPE.’

Ajuri assured Nigerians plans are underway to not only improve the lives of every Nigerian but to also secure them by “enhancing specialization within our armed forces” that will deal with a proactive approach.

He disclosed that “there will be massive recruitment exercise, not false conscription, but active recruitment of the best available young men and women in this country. Intellectually as well as those who are visibly available. We are going to ensure it is worth their time with increased benefits packages.”

Ajuri who stressed that Nigerians should expect ‘mass recruitment’, highlighted some of the approaches that would be adopted by Tinubu to bring it into reality, which include contracting “millions of young rural Nigerians to engage in mass clearing exercises to take our cultivable land from current 35% to 60% by 2027 (when the first tenure of Tinubu will end if he is elected President).”

He also talked about Housing, saying it is a “critical job creation opportunity that we believe can absolutely be done with a sustainable modification that His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is proposing. He is going to establish, from the first day in office, a new Consumer Credit System in this country.”

Ajuri explained that Tinubu would work with the “National Assembly to reform the Land Use Act to ensure we streamline and standardise all of the processes related to how developers will access land for the provision of housing in the country.”

He added that “Tinubu is proud of President Muhammadu Buhari’s introduction of a program that has touched many lives and he is committed to scaling it up.”

In the education sector, Ajuri said Tinubu is planning to give Nigerians a second route which has to do with vocation and technical education across the States.

“We want to change the orientation among Nigerian parents that the only way your child can be successful is if he/she is a lawyer, accountant or scientist. We believe you can be very successful even without a university education,” and for this to happen, he said Tinubu will “establish a Presidential Special Committee on Education that is going to, for the first time, bring education officials (teachers and unions) and captains of industries (CEOs of major Manufacturers, Construction companies and banking industries) to re-engineer the entire national curriculum at all levels of education in the country.”

The Committee, according to Ajuri, would “specifically tailor it (the curriculum) around the unique skills required in today’s 21st century, the knowledged-base economy and around the world.”
