Tinubu Will Recalibrate Nigeria’s Financial System For More Revenue – Dele Alake

Dele Alake Suggests Alternative To Loans For African Countries
Dele Alake, Adviser Media, Communications on Public Affairs, Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Organisation, has expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu possesses the quality to improve the nation’s economy.

Gatekeepers News reports that Alake who referred  to Tinubu as ‘a wealth creator’, stated that he “will recalibrate the financial system of Nigeria such that there will now be enough money to cater adequately for education and health.”

The Media Adviser made the statement while responding to a question on why Tinubu and other many Nigerians chose to travel abroad for medical attention and not stay in the country when he appeared on News Central TV’s Political HQ on Monday.

According to him, the value system was high years back but it is no longer the same due to “elite hypocrisy”.

He declared that Tinubu is capable to improve the current State of the country with the experience he had gathered as a two-time Governor of Lagos State to secure the funds that will be channeled to the appropriate sectors.

On insecurity, Alake admitted that it is a serious challenge in Nigeria just like like it is in every part of the world.

Alake expressed optimism that if President Muhammadu Buhari is not able to hand over a well-secured Nigeria to his successor as promised, Tinubu is capable to make use of men and materials to secure the lives and properties.

Although he noted that the type of security challenge Lagos faced years ago were majorly ‘ethnic strikes’ and ‘robberies’ and are not the same as ‘banditry, kidnapping and terrorism’ that Nigeria is currently facing, but assured that the mechanism that will be deployed by Tinubu to tackle insecurity, “will be quite different”.

The Media Adviser stated that Tinubu will employ technology such as drones that would be used to comb forests and other hideouts of terrorists. He added that the APC Presidential candidate would also increase the number of Servicemen, explaining that the strength of the military is inadequate to service the need of over two million Nigerians.

Alake also said Tinubu’s campaign so far has been successful as it has focused on issues that affect Nigerians individually and collectively.

He further defended Tinubu’s absence at the recent Presidential Debate, saying most Nigerians who will vote are not on cable. The Media Adviser added that Tinubu has attended other critical stakeholder meetings in Lagos, Minna, Nassarawa and other parts of the country.
