Federal High Court in Abuja has set aside its order sentencing Inspector-General (IG) of police, Usman Baba, to three-month imprisonment for contempt.
Gatekeepers News earlier reported that the court on November 29 sentenced the IGP to three months in prison for disobeying a court order.
The Presiding Judge, Mobolaji Olajuwon convicted the IGP following a suit filed by a former police officer, Patrick Okoli, who claims he was unlawfully and compulsorily retired from the Nigerian police force.
This is a developing story.
