Wife of the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hajja Fatima Atiku Abubakar has at the weekend urged Borno Women and Youths to mobilise support for her husband, saying that, he’s the best Presidential Candidate that has clear-cut plans to Liberate Nigeria from it’s many problems.
Gatekeepers News reports that Mrs Atiku made the disclosure during the commissioning of Women and Youth Support for Atiku (WAYSA) headquarters in Maiduguri the State capital.
Mrs Atiku stated that women and youths will play critical role that will bring the nation back to the ways of prosperity and good governance if her husband emerged the next president of Nigeria.
The wife of the Former Vice President also used the occasion to receive over 7000 decampees from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) into the PDP.
She said: “This gathering is a clear indication that PDP is back again in Borno State, today, we are here to receive new members who left their former political party APC to join the PDP, majority of them women and youths.
“This is an indication that I am from Borno state, I thank you very much for the show of love and support and by God’s grace l have no doubt that a larger number of you will come out and vote for my husband on the elections.
The decampees according to the PDP Comr. Zanna Bukar Ali, leader of the Progressive Youth Movement (PYM) in Borno, a Member of the Presidential Campaigns Council (PCC) of Tinubu/Shettima, who is also the National Vice Chairman North of National Committee for APC Progressive Groups alongside 4000 traders at Maiduguri Maiduguri G.S.M market, 3000 youths from over seven youth groups formerly with the APC.
