President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the 2023 Appropriation Bill into law.
Gatekeepers News reports Buhari signed the 2023 Appropriation Bill of N21.83 trillion into law at the Council Chambers of the State House in Abuja.
The budget of N21.8 trillion, indicates an increase of N1.32 trillion from the N20.51 trillion Buhari initially presented in October 2022.
The President signed the 2023 budget on Tuesday morning in the presence of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Ahmed Lawan, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, and other members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC).
Speaking at the event, the President said his administration would speed up critical infrastructure projects nationwide as it raced toward the finish line on May 29, 2023.
