Court of Appeal Abuja Division has upheld Stella Oduah as the Senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Anambra North Senatorial district in the coming elections.
Gatekeepers News reports that the Court of Appeal his dismissed the suit filed by John Emeka seeking to disqualify Oduah on the ground that she never obtained an NYSC discharge certificate, adding that Oduah gave false information when she stated that she lost her NYSC Discharge Certificate.
The Federal High Court had earlier struck out the matter and Emeka filed an appeal to the Court of Appeal.
Nevertheless, the Court of Appeal in its judgment dismissed Emeka’s appeal and upheld the judgement of the Federal High Court.
The judgement, therefore, affirms Oduah as the candidate of the PDP for next month’s election.
