JUST IN: ‘I Want To Be Your Servant’ – President Elect Bola Tinubu

Nigeria’s President-elect, Bola Tinubu has applauded Nigerians for electing him as the 16th President of the country.

Gatekeepers News reports that Tinubu further applauded all citizens whether they are ‘Batified’, ‘Atikulated’, ‘Obidients’, ‘Kwankwasiyya’, or other camps they belong to for contributing to the dividend of democracy.

The President-elect gave this applause while delivering his acceptance speech a few hours after Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu declared him the winner.

Describing himself as a conductor, he encouraged all citizens to work for the unity and harmony of the country.

In his words, “Let me be your servant,” Tinubu charged Nigerians to collaborate with him so he can serve them better.

To the youths, Tinubu said, “I hear you loud and clear, we are going to chart the path together, we will embark on this journey united.

“Undivided attention to your education, education loan will be available, four years course will be four years course, no more strike, University will be autonomous… and you will see the reward of your election.”

Despite agitations for the cancellation of the February 25 presidential election by opposition parties, Tinubu commended INEC for running a credible election.

He further appreciated President Muhammadu Buhari for his commitment and dedication to the course of Nigeria’s democracy.

The President-elect further appreciated his political party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, for their support.
