Gatekeepers News reports that the passport office was commissioned on Saturday, 20th of May 2023.
At the commissioning event, Nasiru said: “This commissioning event today once again illustrates the immense power
manifest in synergy between government, non-governmental organizations and the community on implementing impact projects. The donation of the building on behalf of the community by HRH the Otaru of Auchi and its
renovation by ADF were combined effort that encouraged the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) on the decision to make progress in the establishment of the Passport Front Office in ASK.
“ADF got involved in the fit for purpose renovation of the Passport office because of its trickle-down effect on social and economic development of the Auchi Community. It is also in line with the 10-year strategic plan of the Foundation that include infrastructure development and environment, youth empowerment, social mobilization, education, inter-community relations, dispute resolution, security, and voters’ education.”
