The new elected Chairman of Lagos State Football Association, Fouad Oki, has congratulated the Flying Eagles against Italy at the ongoing U20 World Cup in Argentina.
Gatekeepers News reports that the Flying Eagles on Wednesday, defeated Italy 2-0 in Group D game.
Oki in his congratulatory message said, “Congratulations to our darling Flying Eagles on the victory over Italy. It’s certainly, a sweet coincidence that this very important win is coming on the day of my election as the Chairman of Lagos FA.
“I implore our boys to improve upon their performances in the tournament and go for the ultimate prize.”
He further reassured football lovers and potential investors that his newly elected board of the State FA, would work assiduously with all stakeholders to revive the fortunes of football in Lagos state.
