Nigerians have reacted to the suspension of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Godwin Emefiele by President Bola Tinubu.
Gatekeepers News reports that Tinubu ordered Emefiele’s suspension on Friday evening sequel to the ongoing investigation of his office and the planned reforms in the financial sector of the economy.
Emefiele was arrested by the DSS hours after his suspension.
Meanwhile, Folashodun Adebisi Shonubi has been named as the acting CBN Governor.
