Madonna Discharged From Hospital

Pop icon, Madonna has been discharged from the hospital after a serious bacterial infection.

Gatekeepers News reports that Madonna is now at home and feeling better after an intensive care stay.

Gatekeepers News earlier reported that the 64-year-old pop star was been rushed to a New York City hospital after being found unresponsive.

The Michigan-born singer was discovered at a residence on Saturday before being admitted to the ICU where she was intubated overnight.

She was early due to begin a seven-month world tour in the coming weeks but has had to postpone it.

Although the initial cause of Madonna’s infection is not clear, doctors said it became extremely serious and required treatment in intensive care.

The pop star, who is very private about health matters, was in the final stages of rehearsals ahead of her extensive 40th-anniversary world tour.

Since her manager Guy Oseary made a statement about her health on Wednesday, Madonna has received thousands of messages of support online.

Meanwhile, Oseary is yet to give details of whether the tour will still go ahead, as Madonna said, “At this time we need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour.

“We will share more details with you as soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and for rescheduled shows.”

Oseary added in his statement that he expected the singer to make “a full recovery”.
