Governor Godwin Obaseki, Edo State, South-South Nigeria, President of the African Development Bank, Akinwunmi Adesina, and the Group President of MTN, Ralph Mupita, are set to headline this year’s edition of BusinessDay’s flagship event, BusinessDay CEO Forum.
Gatekeepers News reports that the Forum has been scheduled to take place today, Thursday, July 13, 2023, at the Ballroom, Eko Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos State, South-West Nigeria.
The forum in its 14th edition would bring together decision-makers in the country’s private and public sectors to discuss emerging opportunities and prevailing challenges they encounter in running their organisations.
The year’s edition is themed “Charting a Course to Growth and Development.”
Governor Obaseki, whose visionary leadership has led to remarkable achievements across all sectors of Edo State, guaranteeing reforms and programmes to ensure an enabling environment for businesses to thrive and attract investments into the State, will share insights and strategies on exploring the challenges and opportunities for businesses in Nigeria’s dynamic economic landscape.
He will also be leveraging his vast public-private sector experience in examining the intricacies of the business ecosystem, addressing challenges faced by entrepreneurs, and proffering innovative solutions to overcome them, ensuring that businesses are able to contribute immensely to the nation’s economic growth and development.
The forum would focus on conversations that will equip CEOs from across Nigeria with approaches on how to stay ahead of the changing times in making decisions and executing strategies to manage their businesses.
On his part, the President of the African Development Bank and a leading expert on development economics will be delivering insights to CEOs who are looking to grow their businesses in the African market.
Ralph Mupita, Global CEO of the MTN Group and a pioneer in the telecommunications industry would be of great interest to CEOs who are looking to make their businesses more sustainable.
