Kogi: Natasha Akpoti And Ohere To File Final Address July 19

Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Kogi Central, in the February 25th general election and All Progressive Congress (APC)’s Ohere Sadiq Abubakar will file their written addresses at the Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Lokoja, the State’s capital on Wednesday, July 19th, 2023.

Gatekeepers News reports that the Akpoti-Uduaghan filed a Notice of Petition against the APC candidate, challenging the declaration and return made by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) made on February 27th,  2023.

The Tribunal has fixed Wednesday for parties to adopt their final written addresses in the matter.

The adoption of the addresses of the parties will bring to a close the trial of the suit at the tribunal thereby paving way for the next stage which is judgement.

Parties will be informed by the Tribunal of the date of the judgement after the adoption of the parties’ respective Final Written Addresses.
