Gatekeepers News reports that Meta’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, announced this new feature on his Facebook page On Wednesday.
Zuckerberg said, “Today we are starting to roll out WhatsApp channels globally and adding thousands of new channels that people can follow in WhatsApp. You can find channels in the new ‘Updates’ tab.”

AT3 Resources said WhatsApp’s main focus is to provide a “private and secure broadcasting service”.
