Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu has apologised to his boss and Governor of the state, Godwin Obaseki.
Gatekeepers News reports that Shaibu in an interview with journalists in Benin, appealed to the governor to forgive him of any wrongdoing and allow peace to reign between them.
Shaibu said he is sorry for any wrong he may may have done to offend the Governor and he hopes they can come back together as one like they were and finish well together.
Shaibu also agreed to resume at his new office after the renovations.
