Eddie Nketiah on Saturday scored a hat-trick to secure a 5-star win for Arsenal against Sheffield United in their English Premier League (EPL) encounter at the Emirates Stadium.
Gatekeepers News reports that Nketiah’s first-half strike and brace in the second half were complemented by a late penalty from Fabio Viera and a close-range volley by Takehiro Tomiyasu.
In the first half, the 24-year-old slotted home expertly, and later produced a thumping strike for the second before the excellent excellent long-range strike to secure his first-ever EPL hat-trick.
The Gunners are unbeaten in the EPL this season with a seventh win after 10 matches. They moved up to second place, two points behind table-topping their North London rivals, Tottenham.
The reverse was the case at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea conceded 2 goals from visiting Brentford.
The West Londoners conceded both goals in the second half after squandering opportunities to take the lead as the visitors maintained their winning streak at the Bridge.
Chelsea moved below their victors in 11th place with 12 points from 10 matches.
