The TikTok ban in Montana has been temporarily blocked by a federal judge, who claimed that the app was likely to win its pending legal challenge.
Gatekeepers News reports that the ban was set to take effect next year and would result in a $10,000 fine for each violation, with Apple and Google being required to remove TikTok from their app stores.
The judge placed an injunction on the ban until the case has been ruled on its merits.
