Presidency has named four transportation companies that will comply to the 50% transportation cut.
Gatekeepers News reports that President Bola Tinubu earlier approved a 50 percent discount for inter-state road travels and 100 percent for train trips for Nigerians wishing to travel home to celebrate Christmas with their families.
The Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, listed the participatory transportation companies on Thursday in a post on his X handle.
According to Onanuga, they are GIG (God is Good), Chisco Transport, Young Shall Grow, God Bless Ezenwata, and Area Motor.
He wrote, “Participating companies in the FG’s plan to reduce the transport burden of travelling 5 million Nigerians:
1.GIG ( God is Good)
2. Chisco Transport
3. Young Shall Grow
4. God Bless Ezenwata
5. Area Motor.”
Gatekeepers News reports that GIGM has implemented the 50% transport discount.
