A group, Afemai Coalition for Asue Ighodalo (an Aspirant for Governor under the PDP) have visited the Muslims Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN) 2023/2024 Islamic Vacation Course (IVC) holding at Auchi Polytechnic on Monday 25th of December, 2023.
Gatekeepers News reports that during the visit, they donated food and essential items for the overall wellbeing of participants in the two weeks programme on behalf of their principal.
The group led by Prince Chalaman MKO Momoh presented no fewer than 64 tubers of yam, 8 bags of 25kg rice together with toiletries.
Prince Momoh noted that it was a thing of joy for them to be able to help meet some of the essential needs of the Muslim students who are currently in camp for both academic and spiritual upliftment untill January 2024.
He noted it was on this premise that Afemai Coalition for Asue Ighodalo took it upon herself as a people oriented body to present the Food items together with other essentials and cash for logistics.
He noted that Asue Ighodalo’s message is for Muslims to seize the spiritually gratifying opportunity provided by the IVC to pray for the betterment of Afenmai and Edo State in particular and Nigeria in general; noting that it is the prayers of Dr Ighodalo for Edolites to witness a prosperous State beyond 2024.
Receiving the items, Sheikh Abdulrafiu, Amir of Edo-Delta Chapter of MSSN appreciated the kind gesture and magnanimity displayed by Afenmai Coalition for Asue Ighodalo and prayed that the reward for such charitable gestures should not elude the group and their principal.
