N14m Debt: Portable Regains Freedom After Meeting Bail Conditions

Popular singer Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, has been released on bail after meeting the conditions set for his release.

Gatekeepers News reports that he was arrested for failing to pay a N14 million debt incurred from the purchase of a G-Wagon from a car dealer in Lagos State.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed this development.

Viral videos showed Portable attempting to evade arrest, but he was eventually apprehended by the police.

The videos have sparked diverse reactions, with some condemning Portable for resisting arrest and others criticizing him for not paying the outstanding balance for the vehicle.
