Former Big Brother Naija’s housemate, Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David, also known as Doyin has aired her opinion regarding women being independent.
Gatekeepers News reports that Doyin spoke against women relying on their spouses through her podcast , ‘Doyin’s Corner’.
Doyin said “One of the riskiest things you can do is get married and want to be a full housewife, completely dependent on your husband without any savings.”
She advised housewives to be financially independent, adding that it empowers and protects them from being disrespected.
The reality TV star added “I don’t support that anyone should be a full housewife. I think it is too risky. It can also lead to unnecessary insults and disrespect.”
Doyin also asserted that she will never be a full-time housewife, even if She is married to the wealthiest man. She said she will least I have a business.”
