‘I Got PTSD’ - Burna Boy Reveals Reason Behind Concert Altercation

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu aka Burna Boy, has made a career shift in the entertainment industry.

Gatekeepers News reports that Burna Boy will be producing his first movie as an executive producer.

The self-acclaimed African Giant will produce the upcoming thriller ‘3 Cold Dishes’ along side Ifind, Alma Productions, Asurf Films, Martian Network and Black Mic Mac.

He will produce the movie through Spaceship Films, a production company he started in 2015 with his mother, Bose Ogulu.

‘3 Cold Dishes’ is directed by Asurf Oluseyi, the 2016 African Magic Viewer’s Choice Award (AMVCA) winner for Best Short Film for the movie ‘A Day With Death’.

The upcoming thriller follows the story of three teenagers who were sold into s3x trade and reunited thirteen (13) years later to seek vengeance.

The movie director, Oluseyi described the film as a “testament to the strength and resilience of its characters,” and an “African cinematic journey like no other” while speaking to Variety Magazine.

The founder of the production company, Black Mic Mac a production company which showcases African and Middle Eastern talents. Pape Boye said “I’m so proud to work with so many different filmmakers all over the continent, and to continue to try to discover talent who want to entertain the world.”

The Nigerian singer, Tiwatope Savage aka Tiwa Savage also released her debut movie ‘Water and Garri’ recently.
