MEVEF, a non-governmental, non-profit organization, focuses on developing individuals for self-reliance through vocational skills acquisition, entrepreneurship empowerment, agriculture, health, and education. Through this campaign, the organization seeks to instill essential virtues of character and selflessness crucial for nation-building among young Nigerians.

The initiative involves a rebranding effort to promote quality character, foster a sense of patriotism and national unity, guide students on career choices, offer free vocational skills training, and provide basic first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training to contribute to national development.

The collaboration with MOMTAN aims to promote skills acquisition through the national rebranding scheme, “Skilled Youths for Self-Reliance,” developing self-sustaining youths who can contribute to national development.
