Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has appointed Corps Commander, Inyang E. Umoh as the new Commander for Osun Sector Command.
Gatekeepers News reports that the new appointment follows the elevation and deployment of Corps Commander, Henry Benamaisia to Rivers State as the new Zonal Commander.
The new appointment was disclosed in a statement by the Command’s Public Education Officer, Agnes Ogungbemi, on Friday in Osogbo, Osun state.
The statement reads in parts, “After the deployment of former Sector Commander, Corps Commander Henry Benamaisia to River state as Zonal Commanding Officer, due to his elevation the Management of the Federal Road Safety Corps has deemed it necessary to deploy another experienced Officer, in the person of Corps Commander Inyang E Umoh to pilot the affairs of FRSC in Osun state.”

“Corps Commander Inyang Edet Umoh is a Nigerian from Akwa Ibom state. He is happily married to his dear wife, Mrs Utibe-Abasi, and blessed with children.”
“He attended the University of Uyo, where he graduated with honours degree in Accounting. He is a member of the National Accountants of Nigeria.”
“Umoh Joined the services of FRSC in 1996. He has served the Corps in various capacities. Having reached the rank of a Corps Commander and following his track records in all the offices held, the Corps Marshal found the Accountant par excellence, Inyang Umoh worthy of appointment as the Sector Commander, Osun State.”
