Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has released list of customers with outstanding bills as it plans to disconnect electricity supply to debtors on June 3, 2024.
Gatekeepers News reports that the company urged affected customers to settle their debts before the deadline to avoid service interruption.
According to AEDC, timely payment of electricity bills is crucial for the continued operation and enhancement of its infrastructure, ensuring efficient and reliable service delivery to the community.
The list of customers with outstanding bills includes top government agencies and institutions.

AEDC’s warning comes as a last resort to recover debts owed by these customers. The company emphasized that it will not hesitate to disconnect electricity supply to defaulters after the June 3 deadline.
