Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has urged Nigerians to put aside blame-trading and fault-finding, instead calling for unity and collective action to address the country’s economic challenges and chart a path towards prosperity.
Gatekeepers News reports that Obaseki, while speaking to journalists in Benin City, emphasised the need for courageous leadership and a national conversation to tackle the country’s problems.
“This is a time for fearless leaders who will speak the truth and work together to find solutions,” he said.
Obaseki noted that his Government has been proactive in implementing reforms and programs to drive growth in Edo State, and expressed optimism about the prospects for a better economy.
“We have institutionalised reforms to better manage the state, and we have prevailed because the majority of Edo people understand and endorse what our government has done,” he said.
