The death has occurred of the patriarch of the Aledeh family of Agbede in Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State, Alhaji Ahmed Alli Aledeh (Namedi).
Gatekeepers News reports that Alhaji Aledeh passed at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) at about 2:30 pm. on Tuesday, June 18, 2024. He was 80.
Alhaji Aledeh was a pioneer staff of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, where he served meritoriously and voluntarily retired over two decades ago.
Until his death, he was a devout Muslim and community leader. In a release by his eldest child, Hon. Hud Aledeh, Pa Aledeh will In Shaa Allah be buried in his hometown of Agbede tomorrow, June 19, 2024, by 10 am.
He is survived by his wives, children, grandchildren, and other relatives. Amongst his children is a veteran journalist with Arise News and publisher of Gatekeepers News, Sulaiman Aledeh.
