A Federal High Court sitting in Kano has nullified the reinstatement of Muhammadu Sanusi II as the 16th Emir of Kano.
Gatekeepers News reports that the court which was presided by Justice Abdullahi Muhammad Liman nullified all the actions taken after the reinstatement.
The judge set aside the new emirate law 2024, which dethroned Aminu Bayero and four other first-class Emirs in the state.
Liman faulted the state Governor, Abba Yusuf for disobeying the court order restricting him from enforcing the new law.
