National Chairman of the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has lost his mother-in-law, Hajiya Asiya Muhammad Gauyama.
Gatekeepers News reports that Hajiya Asiya Muhammad Gauyama died in the early hours of Monday.
Chief Press Secretary to National Chairman, Edwin Olofu made the announcement through a statement released on Monday.
According to the statement, Hajiya Gauyama was a revered matriarch, whose life was characterized by her unwavering commitment to family, community, and faith.
Olofu revealed that the funeral prayer for the deceased will be held by 2 PM today at Ganduje’s residence which is located at Miyangu Road, Kano state.
The statement goes,” It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt sympathy that we announce the passing of Hajiya Asiya Muhammad Gauyama, the beloved mother of Professor Hafsatu Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the wife of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje CON.”
