Former Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, has endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic presidential candidate.
Gatekeepers News reports that Pelosi emphasised the importance of Democrats uniting to defeat former President Donald Trump of the Republican Party.
Posting on X, Pelosi wrote: “Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year.
“Democrats — it’s time to come together and beat Trump.”
President Joe Biden had previously endorsed Harris for the upcoming presidential election after stepping down from the race due to health and performance concerns.
