Secretary to Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume on Wednesday, held a meeting with ministers to develop measures to avoid the planned nationwide protests scheduled for August 1 by unknown youths.
Gatekeepers News reports that Permanent Secretary, Cabinet Affairs Office to the SGF, Richard Pheelangwah had in a letter to the ministers on Tuesday night said the meeting was mandatory.
Other people including Special Advisers to the President on Policy and Coordination, Hadiza Bala-Usman; Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, and former Minister of Youth and Sports, Sunday Dare were also invited to the meeting.
