Our diversity remains our strength and justifies why Nigeria has been the champion of peace and understanding continentally and globally.”
Addressing security operatives, she said, “Security operatives should realize that they remain accountable and must adhere to the letters of our constitution which provide for respect for fundamental human rights.”
Odumakin further urged leaders of all tiers and arms of Government to listen to the citizens’ demands and take concrete steps to address issues of extreme poverty and bad governance.
She concluded, “The people have spoken, and it’s time for positive changes to be effected.”
“Remember, the power of the people is greater than the people in power. Let’s work together towards a more just and equitable society for all.”
