Nigerian disc jockey Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy has praised her mother for her entrepreneurship spirit as her business marks its 25th year of existence.
Gatekeepers News reports that the DJ posted a video of her tour of the dry cleaning factory named “Garment Care Limited” founded by her mother, Nana Otedola.
DJ Cuppy referred to the dry cleaning factory as the best dry cleaning business in the whole country.
She noted that her mother’s role as a female CEO and her entrepreneurial drive are huge sources of inspiration for her, adding that she went there to gain motivation and was particularly impressed when her mother’s team had her pitch in with the work.
DJ Cuppy reflected on her mother’s journey from starting the business with modest means to achieving great success, which inspired her to be dedicated and strive for excellence in all her endeavors.
She wrote, “In 1999, my mum founded @GarmentCareLTD, and now, 25 years later, it stands as the BEST dry cleaning business in the country! Her entrepreneurial spirit as a female CEO inspires me daily, so I visited her factory for motivation. I was incredibly impressed—her team even had me working (for free)! @Nana_Otedola, seeing you grow this business from its beginnings to a well-known name inspires me to pursue perseverance and excellence in all I do.
