Nigeria team; Emmanuel Ojeli, Ezekiel Nathanial, Dubem Amene, and Chidi Okezie, have on Friday, been disqualified from men’s 4x400m relay at 2924 Paris Olympics.
Gatekeepers News reports that the quartet finished in heat 2 with a Season’s Best time of 2:59.81, while France won the race in 2:59.53, and Belgium came 3rd automatic spot in 2:59.84.
The team was disqualified because one of the runners crossed lanes, leading to tripping of a South African runner.
Nigeria team’s spot was then passed on to South Africa.
