Real Madrid Midfielder Camavinga To Miss Start Of Season

Real Madrid’s French midfielder, Eduardo Camavinga will miss start of the season after sustaining a knee injury during training for Super Cup.

Gatekeepers News reports that LaLiga club revealed this through a statement released on Wednesday.

“After the tests carried out today, our player Eduardo Camavinga has been diagnosed with a sprain of the internal collateral ligament in his left knee.”

Camavinga got injured during a training session on Tuesday at Warsaw’s National Stadium where Super Cup game against Italian side Atalanta takes place later on Wednesday.

The twenty-one (21) year-old professional footballer will miss up to seven weeks as Real’s La Liga title defence begins on Sunday at Mallorca.

Camavinga made his first senior appearance for France’s national team in 2020 at the age of 17.

The footballer was part of French squad which finished runners-up at 2022 FIFA World Cup.
