Supreme court has on Friday, affirmed the re-election of Hope Uzodimma as Governor of Imo state.
Gatekeepers News reports that a five-member panel of the court dismissed the appeal filed by Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Samuel Anyanwu.
The panel unanimously agreed that the appeal was without merit and all the issues were resolved in favour of the Governor.
It also dismissed the appeal of Labour Party (LP) and its candidate, Athan Achonu, saying it lacked merit.
