In their ongoing efforts to rally support for Asue Ighodalo, the PDP candidate in the upcoming September 21st Edo state gubernatorial election, the Afemai Coalition for Asue Ighodalo connected with the Auchi Deaf-Mute community on the first day of September 2024.
Gatekeepers News reports that the community members were thrilled by the coalition’s clear message of hope and the promise of a brighter future for Edo under the leadership of Dr. Asue Ighodalo. They were particularly inspired by his vision to transform Edo from a third-world state into a first-world sub-sovereign entity where every stakeholder is valued and included.
As outlined in his official manifesto, “The Pathway to Prosperity,” Dr. Ighodalo’s administration is committed to paying special attention to children with physical challenges and special learning needs. His government plans to enhance access to quality education for all children, regardless of socioeconomic status or physical ability. This includes providing essential support such as wheelchairs and prosthetics for those with physical challenges.
The community pledged their overwhelming support and vowed to vote en masse for Asue Ighodalo, confident that his administration will work to improve their well-being and overall quality of life.
