Bandits on Monday, attacked a Primary Healthcare Centre in Kuyallo, Birnin-Gwari Local Government Area (LGA) of Kaduna State.
Gatekeepers News reports that the bandits abducted two nurses and an unspecified number of patients during the incident that took place around 9 am yesterday.
Initial reports revealed that the bandits first targeted nearby Government Day Secondary School, but finding it empty, they turned their attention to the healthcare facility.
Musa Alhassan, a leader of the local vigilante group in the community confirmed the incident.
He said, “They came looking for students, but when they discovered the school was vacant, they went straight to the health centre and began abducting people.”
Police authorities and the state government are yet to speak on the incident.
